It is imperative that the fabric must be totally submerged in the dye water the entire time while being stirred and soaked. Pre-wash items in warm, soapy water to remove any finishes that may interfere with dye absorption. Shake the dye bottle well. Add dye amount in TBS & tsp as indicated on the bottle label into the dry container. Slowly add very hot water to your container stirring thoroughly. Soak your fabric in hot water before dyeing it.
